Can your ideal clients find you? 3 tips

Can your ideal clients find you? 3 tips

You are most likely great in what you do – even if you might not think so.

You have mastered your art, developed your skills, educated yourself and got your certifications.  You are talented and you have some or much experience in your chosen field.

The question is: are those who are looking to find someone like you, able to find you?  Do you have a visible online or offline presence that others are able to notice?

If your ideal clients don’t know who you are, what you can do for them and where they can reach you then all those talents, expertise, qualifications and experiences go wasted and you find yourself earning very little to none from your profession or business venture.

So here are 3 tips you NEED to immediately follow if you want to attract more of your ideal clients:

Tip 1: Have a website that can easily be found and most importantly a website that sells.

Undoubtedly we now live in the era of internet.  From children to seniors billions of people turn to the internet and search engines like Google to find what they want.

People don’t anymore look in yellow pages or newspapers to find professionals that can help them with what they want – or the percentage of these people is minute.

So you need to have your own website which is designed professionally and hosted professionally.  Meaning:  don’t go for free blog pages through other sites that will probably harm your image and brand instead of promoting it.

You will also need to use various techniques like SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to help your website rank high in the search engines.

Tip 2.  Show the world that you are an expert in your field.

There are many ways you can put yourself “out there” and be known as an expert like:

  1. organise introductory live & in person events
  2. speak to groups
  3. organise webinars and teleclasses
  4. publish videos, articles and ebooks
  5. answer questions in forums and social media platforms
  6. collaborate with other experts in your field or with those who offer complimentary to yours services and share the same target market.

Tip 3: Ask for referrals.

There is nothing better than “word of mouth” advertising.  There are many professionals that never need to make any advertising for themselves as their entire business is based on referrals.

Talk directly to the clients you already have or even family members, friends and other contacts.  Don’t expect them to do it anyhow for you.  Ask them to provide referrals or recommend you to their circles.

You can even go to the extent of offering a reward for every referral they provide as an incentive.  It doesn’t need to be something big or expensive.  Even if you choose to give them a bottle of wine or a discount from future purchases they will be thrilled.

Follow these 3 tips I gave you today and watch your business grow fast.
